For many years Dunsley dealt mainly in the manufacture of solid fuel open fires, boilers and gas fires, however as tastes change and needs evolve we have recognised this fact and created two different types of Multi-fuel and Woodburning Stoves.
Developed through 30 years of research The Yorkshire Stove Woodburning Multifuel Stove is the first of a whole new breed of heat source. At last, we have created fire without smoke. Emissions from the Yorkshire Stove are so low that it very easily complies with the clean air act. Independent laboratory tests show efficiencies of over 70% on a whole range of fuels including wood.
The Highlander 3 Enviro-burn is a free standing Woodburning Multifuel stove approved to burn wood logs in smoke control areas. The appliance is constructed from 4 and 10mm steel and cast iron. It incorporates both rear and top flue outlet. You can have a choice of black, brass or polished steel handles. A canopy can be supplied on request.
The Highlander 5 Woodburning Multifuel stove has been developed to increase the choice of the householder, using the same superb burning technology as the Highlander 7. Same air wash system, same shaker system only slightly smaller, but can still take logs up to 280mm long, same range of sustainable fuel, same metallic black finish, solid brass handles as standard, with black handles available on request.
The Highlander 7 is the next size up from the Highlander 5 in the Highlander series of Woodburning Multifuel stoves. It meets the relevant British standards for the whole of the UK and has been developed using the best burning technology to give you a stove with a clean burn and high efficiency. The Super Air Wash System has been designed to keep the glass clean to give a full view of the superb flame pattern created as the flames rise to meet the incoming air, this causes secondary combustion to take place, resulting in clean burn with dancing flames.
The Highlander 10 Woodburning Multifuel stove is a wide version of the popular highlander 8 stove, with the same burning control system but nearly 100mm wider than the 8 and with a fuel box area to take logs up to 550mm long, this makes the highlander 10 more suitable for larger rooms. Each door has its own primary air controls, these control the amount of fuel being burnt and can also be closed down for overnight burning of fossil fuels.
The Highlander 16 Woodburning Multifuel central heating stove. Clean, clear and high outputs, outputs of up to 16.9KW on 4 hour re-fuelling. You might think efficiency was not a consideration for the engineers at Dunsley but built to the highest standards this is a quality stove designed for cleaner burning and clean combustion including an airwash air supply giving a clear view of the dancing flames.
